The Mad House Crew's MI NUH KNOW riddim continues to dominate the Southwestern Dancehall Charts. Baby Cham was barely able to cling onto the pole-position from last month, being heavily challenged by newcomer Ms.Thing, who nearly toppled him. Another upcoming artist called J (not to be confused with Singer J) has kept climbing on the riddim as well, clockin in at #5. Baby Cham's "Bad Mind" at #10 and Chico's "Have Your Own" at #13 further demonstrate the popularity of the beat in NM. Respect out to Dave "X-Tra Large" Kelly once again.

Sean Paul's "Get Busy" experienced another boost, rising back up to #3, as it is starting to get some rotations on commercial hip-hop/r'n b radio out here as well. The artist's popularity is ever-blazing with main-stream Americans, as he simply has an excellent streak going. While his combination with Busta Rhymes dropped down to #7, his brandnew "Shake That Thing" on Black Shadow's SURPRISE riddim (the follow-up to the highly successful BUZZ, of "Give Me The Light"-fame),comes in at #6. No matter what Mr.Dutty Cup touches seems to turn to gold. Also on the SURPRISE at #8 we have Wayne Wonder alongside himself in the form of Surprize bunning down the "Enemies". The beat has a strong resemblance to the BUG from a few years back and the full album featuring tunes from Bounty, Beenie, Ele, Mr.Easy, Cobra and others should be out by the time you read this.

The Missy Elliot/Capleton/Sizzla remix of "Work It" has continued its rise, occupying the #4 spot, while Elephant Man tells the girls to cock up their "Escalade"-bumpers on the same remix-beat. Frisco Kid wants "More Marijuana" on the BOLLYWOOD and the MASTERPIECE is represented by Sean Paul's "Everblazing". The MAD ANTS riddim, which has been HUGE in Jamaica, finally contributes 2 tracks in the form of Capleton's "Warn Dem" and Wayne Wonder & Surprize's "Got To Be".

On the rootical front Anthony B & Seed and Crystal Axe on the NIGHT NURSE beat out of Germany have dropped down to #'s 9 and 16 respectively, while Junior Murvin and George Nooks re-did "Police & Thieves" on the KUTCHIE/FULL-UP at #12. Luciano re-enters the charts with "I Am That Man" on the Lion Paw label and Bounty Killer, together with Leroy Smart, concludes the vibes this time on the BALLISTIC AFFAIR.

'Til next time: See ya ina di dance:
